Mango-Habanero Hot Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 large carrot, trimmed, peeled and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 habanero pepper, stems removed
  • 1 large mango, peeled, pitted, and cut into chunks
  • 1/2 cup Pacific Foods™ Organic Unsweetened Almond Original Plant-Based Beverage
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt

Instructions

  • Step 1

    Place carrots in a steamer basket and steam over boiling water until very tender, about 10 minutes. 

  • Step 2

    Transfer carrots to a blender and add garlic, habaneros, mango, almond milk, lime juice and salt.  Puree. Taste and add more salt and/or lime juice if needed. Store refrigerated up to 1 week.
